IS THIS YOU?
You’re feeling overwhelmed by all the uncertainty right now and you’re sure not sure how you’ll reach your target next year
You’ve had some success with grant applications but you need a more structured approach if you’re going to maintain that success with the ever increasing competition
You want to be more strategic with your grant applications rather than just sending out last minute asks when opportunities come up
You’re responsible for setting your trusts target and you want to make sure you’re being realistic
You want your manager and organisation to be aware of the potential risks going into next year so that you don’t set yourself up for an impossible task.
Do you like the sound of going into your next financial year with a solid plan for your trust fundraising and feeling confident that you know how to achieve your target? With the long lead-in times for grant applications, now is the perfect time to be thinking ahead to the next financial year and working out a clear plan for how you’re going to reach your target in this uncertain world.
Come and join me in the Target Planning Workshop
“
“Thank you - very useful, I've learned a lot”
“The planning document provided will be really useful. The parts about reflecting back on what has worked and what hasn’t was really helpful.”
“Thank you so much, it’s been great!”

DURING THIS WORKSHOP YOU’LL LEARN TO:
Assess your strengths and weaknesses within the trust fundraising process and the areas you might need to develop
Create a plan of action to reach your target and what you can be doing now to get ahead for the next financial year
Put together a simple plan to share with your manager and others in your organisation so that everyone knows what your focus will be and what your risk areas are.
We’ll go through my own planning template during the workshop so that you can create your own plan straight away.
what’s included:
A 60 minute video where I’ll take you through some practical exercises to help you review your previous year of fundraising as well as how to plan ahead and calculate realistic targets.
A pdf planning template that you can use to plan your own fundraising targets next year.
HELLO
I’m Alicia
a fundraising consultant, juggling family life with my husband and two boys whilst helping charities write better, more successful grant applications.
Over the years I’ve written, and read, hundreds of grant applications. I’ve seen what works and importantly, what doesn’t! Some of the funders I have secured grants from include the City Bridge Trust, Morrisons Foundation, February Foundation, Garfield Weston Foundation, Henry Smith Charity, Reaching Communities and the Department of Health.
In 2018, I set up the Trust Fundraising Hub, a free Facebook community offering advice, support and inspiration to over 4,000 CEO’s, volunteers and fundraisers.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
what is the format of this workshop? +
After payment you'll receive a link to access all the resources for the workshop including the pre-recorded video, slides and pdf planning template.
i'm new to trust fundraising, is this workshop for me? +
Yes! If you're new to trust fundraising and you don't know how to calculate a realistic target for your trust fundraising next year then the workshop will take you through the method I use to calculate targets. We also do a quick review of previus successes and challenges though so if you're brand new to trust fundraising and haven't sent any applications yet, this part may be less useful for you.
is there anything I need to prepare to get the most out of this workshop? +
It might be useful to get hold of the following information before you watch the workshop:
- A list of funds secured from trusts and foundations this year – who from and how much. If you feel that your current financial year has been wildly different from previous years, then grab the figures for previous years as well.
- A list of any grants already secured for your next financial year – again who from and how much.
- Your success rate for grant applications.
